The Differences Between Charging Cars, Trucks, and Electric Buses

Description: As EVs scale, much of the charging infrastructure is built around cars.  However, the chargers that are suitable for cars are not always suitable for trucks and buses.  Furthermore, it is not easy to find public chargers that will accommodate large trucks, school buses, and light-duty trucks pulling trailers.  This presentation will review the differences between charging small vehicles and large vehicles.  We will also discuss the public charging changes that need to be made to increase the adoption of large electric vehicles, such as school buses.
