National School Bus Inspection Training - Day 2
Location: Brownsburg Community School Corporation

Instructors: Mike Bullman, Director of Transportation, South Carolina DOE; Bobby Williams, Asst. Director Fleet Services, Cy-Fair ISD; Jannet Malig, Long Beach (California) Clean Cities

Description:  Attendees of this training head to Brownsburg Community School Corporation to receive hands-on experience with finding more defects prior to vehicle failure, which allows for expedited repairs, increased vehicle uptime, and a more efficient maintenance program. New this year is a detailed overview taught by electric school bus experts on the differences between inspecting zero-emissions vehicles and internal combustion vehicles. Hosted by Brownsburg Community School Corporation with transportation provided by Miller Transportation. Lunch is served.

Transportation Directors Summit (Apply for Approval)

Speaker: Wayne Lee

Description: The Transportation Director Summit at STN EXPO Indianapolis is a signature event designed exclusively for qualified transportation directors. Participants will network with peers throughout two days, starting the afternoon of Friday, May 31 at the Omni Severin Hotel, and continuing all day Saturday, June 1, at Topgolf in Fishers, prior to the start of the regular STN EXPO conference. Successful applicants will gain high-level insights from experts within the student transportation industry and beyond, on how to implement true leadership and innovation practices into their local operation.

Summit attendance is required on Friday for admittance on Saturday. Transportation, breakfast and lunch provided on Saturday, June 1.

Submitted applications will be by reviewed by STN staff with approval to be confirmed. Pre-event survey is required to be completed prior to the event in order to gain entry.
