Scholarship Details:<\/h2>\n
One student transportation professional from a school district or school bus contractor will be awarded a continuing education scholarship to attend the 2026 STN EXPO West in Reno, Nevada, held July 10-11.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
The scholarship is named after Dick Fischer, the \u201cfather\u201d of School Bus Safety Week and the 2024 STN Lifetime Achievement Award recipient<\/span>. For nearly eight decades, he has dedicated himself to school bus safety as a school bus driver, transportation director, safety director, and trainer.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
Applicants must be nominated by a peer or supervisor to be considered. Nominations will be judged by how the applicant specifically defines and teaches the safety culture in their transportation operation, with specific examples provided. How would the applicant and their operation benefit from attending the STN EXPO?<\/div>\n

Preference will be given to professionals seeking to attend STN EXPO for the first time.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
The deadline for submissions is May 29.<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
